Ooooh - anyone up for another fun giveaway post? I'm so thankful to the generous folks at Shutterfly for giving me a chance to participate in another giveaway. One of you folks is going to win a photobook!
Shutterfly Yearbooks seem to be pretty popular these days, and I can see why. A super-easy way to preserve school memories (or any other memories), they are also quite affordable when one considers how much it would cost to buy individual prints of all your photos, not to mention a photo album as well as any scrapbooking supplies. Get it all in one simple-to-design package with Shutterfly's high-quality printing!
Whether you homeschool or your kids go away to school, these books are a great way to "make it a school year to remember." Shutterfly also offers free tips and tricks for putting a yearbook together, as well as shortcuts and ideas. Also, be sure to check out their list of photo ideas for documenting a school year.
I haven't yet printed one of these books myself, but I'm guessing the templates offer a lot of versatility and could probably be used for documenting pretty much anything - not just a school year. I've been very pleased with everything else I've ordered from Shutterfly so far, and am looking forward to giving these books a try. They're giving me a free book as a thank you for hosting this giveaway: yay!
If you'd also like to check out the yearbooks, and to do so for FREE, just leave a comment here and tell me your current methods for preserving family memories: scrapbooking, digital albums, facebook, instagram...what works for you? Please be sure to include your email address if you're posting anonymously so I can get in touch with you if you win! :)
For a second entry, please share this post on Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, or your blog - then come back here and leave another comment letting me know.
Get your entries in by midnight March 23. I will randomly select one entry on March 24, and that person will win a FREE 8x8 20-page photobook (including FREE shipping)!
Thanks for participating, and I can't wait to see who will win! :D
I would love this! I am currently just using digital as my way of documenting family memories, but I love these books and would like to start getting pictures printed this way. :)

ReplyDeleteI usually end up printing photos to stick in albums, but my favorite thing I've been working on is a scrapbook like Ellie's Adventure Book from Up.
ReplyDeleteI used to scrapbook, but have switched to Shutterfly books! With so many little ones digital lets me work and then hit save and go on to whatever needs to be done without have a bunch of stuff to put away.
ReplyDeleteYay! I love Shutterfly! Right now I "scrapbook" by using photo books, blogging and instagram! :)

I keep some albums on Facebook, but most of our family photos are archived in folders in Lightroom. :-)

ReplyDeleteMy method for saving pictures is to take them and upload them to Shutterfly and leave them there for years, while telling myself I will make them into something some day. :D

Regular scrapbook has been my method so far, but I would love to do a photobook.

First everything is stored on the computer, sorted by year and month. When I get time (!), I create new folders to print my own photos for scrapbooking, or for creating a photobook on a site like Shutterlfy. ydm christina at yahoo dot com

ReplyDeleteNeat contest. Right now I am actually uploading all the baby pictures to Shutterfly, so this would be great to win. I have so far just printed some photos and placed them in a baby book and also frames. But I like the photobook- scrapbook look. :D

Scrapbooking pre-kids and through the first 9 months of my daughter's life. Then I realized there was just no way to keep up with all the pictures we take via scrapbooking and get other stuff done too...and didn't want to always be hopelessly behind. Switched to photo albums with room to jot a sentence by the pics....and am wanting to give a go with online scrapbooks and see how cost effective it is. I tried a shutterfly one for our family vacation and fell in love with it....so I'd really love to win this and get our regular pics done! :-D
ReplyDeleteMy method of preserving memories had been having them organized by year and then month on hard drives. Until I had both of my hard drives fail in the past 6 months. I wish I had printed out more pictures or done the photo albums that I had wanted to before I lost all of my pictures. So I'd love to win this so I can start having photo albums instead of only relying on hard drives.
